I Feel Like a Bombed Cathedral (FR) â™± Daisy Dickinson (UK)

A collision of sound and vision at the edge of perception…

This new audiovisual collaboration merges the haunting sonic landscapes of Amaury Cambuzat—founder of cult French post-rock band Ulan Bator and guitarist for legendary German krautrock pioneers faUSt—with the striking, immersive visuals of filmmaker and visual artist Daisy Dickinson.

Performing under the name I Feel Like a Bombed Cathedral, Cambuzat constructs dense, meditative layers of guitar, drone, and noise that evoke both ruin and transcendence. Dickinson’s analog-based visuals— fluid, textured, and improvised are less accompaniment and more invocation—fluid portals into unseen dimensions, transforming space into shifting dream realms, acting as both mirror and counterpoint to the sound.

Together, they create a live ritual: a synaesthetic journey where sound dissolves into light and image bleeds into tone.

This collaboration is not a performance in the traditional sense—it is a ritual, a shared hallucination, a moment suspended in time:  an audiovisual séance where destruction, memory, and the sublime collide in real time.

Premiering in 2025, this project offers a raw, hypnotic fusion of visual poetry and sonic intensity—

equal parts spiritual exorcism and post-industrial dreamscape.
